CLEVELAND (AP) - With the auto industry and its suppliers falling on hard times, Eaton Corp. is banking on diversification tied more to electrical devices and pumps than car and truck parts.
Products such as circuit breakers and the backup power switches that keep high-speed Internet businesses online are driving revenue as the 94-year-old Eaton heads toward becoming a $10 billion company for the first time.
